It is one of the best parkland golf courses in the North East of England. We are a friendly members golf club, with a very active men's, lady's, and a strong, vibrant junior section.

The club is supported by strong golf professional team with one of the largest golf professional shops in the North East.
The open club competitions are very popular and they get full quick - book EARLY to avoid disappointment!

The course is easy accessible, based just off the A19, along the B1281, opposite the Old Castle Eden Brewery. We offer visiting packages for small and large groups, please contact our secretary for details.

Our society visited yesterday over 100 played, we were given a warm welcome from Lorraine and all the kitchen/bar staff and the best bacon sandwiches we have had all season. Course was in really good condition and played very well. We came into homemade pie and peas. The staff worked tirelessly feeding us all a big thank you to Lorraine, the lovely Beth and all the team we had an excellent day.

Great venue and super welcoming and so friendly !

Please accept my apologies for the delay in sending you our response to the superb golfing day we had at Castle Eden Golf Club on 11th July 2024. I am writing on behalf of the Seniors’ Section (Elves) at Roseberry Grange Golf Club to thank you, the catering team and the pro shop staff, for your efforts in making our ‘Away Day’ a most enjoyable experience. Without exception our members were impressed with the standard of the course, your clubhouse and the food we were served. The staff who looked after us were all prepared to go the extra mile to make sure that our needs were met and the visit was a success. Based upon the responses from our party of forty five ‘senior’ golfers, I would be more than happy to recommend Castle Eden Golf Club to other groups who are looking for a great day’s golf.

I attended the Heworth ladies golf outing today to Castle Eden. I would like to extend my thanks for a fabulous day out.
The course whilst challenging, was in an excellent condition. The food was very good and your clubhouse and professional staff very welcoming. The weather however was typically British !

Hi all at Castle Eden Golf Club.Last week we came to play your wonderful Course as a visiting party of four from Windermere Golf Club in the Lake District.I wanted to let you know that we were made very welcome from when we booked our tea time prior, to leaving the bar after a couple of pints and a lovely meal afterwards.The course was in an unbelievable Condition and the best greens I've putted on for a couple of years!! The clubhouse and staff and the prices for food were remarkable and we will definitely be returning. Thanks all.
