Castle Eden Golf Club is one of County Durham’s and Teesside’s finest parkland golf courses, situated just off the A19 at Peterlee. The course is set alongside the beautiful Castle Eden Dene with great scenery and fantastic views of The Castle in its tranquil setting on the back nine. The par 70 course measures 5976 yards from the yellow tees and provides a great test of golf with four par 3’s and two par 5,s in the eighteen holes .
Castle Eden golf club is recognised as a great place to play, not only by the members but by the visitors and corporate events who return year after year. The large club house boasts excellent facilities including an excellent choice of catering from bar meals to Sunday carvery, a full size snooker table and the full length conservatory overlooking the 7th 8th and 18th holes is an ideal place to relax following the golf. A well stocked pro shop, with buggies available (subject to course conditions) and pull trolleys at very reasonable rates. Tuition is available from professional Peter Jackson.
Castle Eden Welcomes visitors all year round and bookings are now being taken for the 2012 season.
