Good Evening Members. Following the announcement this evening from The Prime Minister we are following the Government advice and have closed the course with immediate effect. This notice covers all area’s and includes the course, clubhouse, practice ground and Tim Jenkins shop. We totally appreciate there will be a lot of disappointment but it’s essential we do this at this time. We’ve personally pushed as hard as we could to keep members playing golf but it’s now not safe to do so and members health must come first. We want to reassure everyone we will be constantly taking advice from golf governing bodies and awaiting further government statements to try and reopen our Club as soon as it is legitimately safe to do so. Hopefully this time will pass quickly, and we will see you back out on the fairway’s Please stay safe & well everyone The Management Committee at CEGC
